I do not use AI in my work and encourage others to forfeit using it as well. You will never become a better writer by adopting it. Additionally, please opt out of allowing permission for AI companies to use your work to train AI–you’ll always be on the losing end of that proposition.
Lastly, corporations are using AI to keep wages low. By adopting it, we’re forfeiting our ability to bargain for higher wages across industries including publishing.
FYI: the CEO of OpenAI is one the current regime’s biggest donors. For many reasons, including supporting democracy, just don’t use it. Seriously, don’t.
