Mission

My mission is to provide clients with writing and editorial services that enhance the clarity and effectiveness of their written communications. I deliver high-quality services on time and within budget.

Education

I hold a B.A. in English from the University of Texas at Arlington, an M.A. in Teaching from Texas Woman’s University, and during the pandemic, I completed the editing certificate program at the University of Chicago.

Background

I started my career in educational publishing working first as an editorial assistant and then developmental editor on college-level business textbooks. From there, I transitioned into teaching, where I held a teaching certificate and taught English and Language Arts for grades 4-9. I also have experience as a college-level student athlete tutor, college academic advisor, and academic coach. I am now a full-time freelancer in publishing, primarily working with nonfiction and educational materials.
